Lately I’ve noticed my rhythm has been off.
Some mornings I’m up before the sun. Other days it’s harder to get moving. When that happens, I usually know it’s a signal that something deeper needs attention.
The truth is, the past few weeks in business have been challenging.
A couple of deals fell apart within a short period of time. I have a buyer who has written several offers, but the timing and terms haven’t lined up yet. And a few of my listings have been sitting longer than I would like.
If you’ve ever worked in real estate—or any commission-based business—you know seasons like this can test your resolve.
Moments like these force you to pause and reflect.
Am I structuring my time well?
Am I supporting my clients the way they deserve?
What needs to change so the next quarter looks different from the last?
When things slow down, it can feel discouraging. But it can also become a refining season—one that pushes you to reset your focus and strengthen your systems.
That’s the place I find myself in right now.
I’ve been spending more time in prayer, asking God for wisdom, clarity, and direction—both in my business and in my responsibilities at home and in the community.
My goal for the remainder of this quarter is simple:
create a clear plan, strengthen my routines, and execute with discipline.
Sometimes growth requires stepping into uncomfortable spaces. But those spaces are often where transformation begins.
It reminds me of the image of a chrysalis.
There is a season where things are quiet, hidden, and uncertain. But that season is not wasted. It’s where the work of transformation happens.
And when the time comes, the chrysalis can no longer contain what is meant to emerge.
I believe seasons of discouragement can become seasons of preparation—if we allow them to.
So I’m moving forward with faith, structure, and renewed focus.
Father God, grant wisdom, strength, and clarity for the road ahead.
In the name of Jesus Christ,
Amen.
