We Are Never Alone: Led by Christ, Loved by the Father, Empowered by the Spirit
May 28, 2025
Last night, something clicked in my spirit. I realized—Jesus really is the First and the Last (Revelation 22:13). Not just in title or timeline, but in the most personal way. He’s the one who started it all and the one who’ll be standing at the end. And in between, He’s been showing us how to live, love, and lead.
He’s not just our Savior—He’s our Elder Brother. That means something. In a family, the elder brother often carries weight—he protects, leads by example, looks out for the younger siblings, and shoulders more responsibility. That’s exactly what Christ has done for us. He walked this earth with full knowledge of our struggles, left behind clear teachings, and even went as far as laying down His life so we could be restored to the Father.
And speaking of the Father—His role in all of this can’t be missed. A good father provides, protects, and gives structure to the home. That’s what God the Father has done. He created everything in perfect order (Genesis 1:1), and His heart has always been for His children. His love set this whole redemption plan into motion.
But what touches me most is this: Jesus didn’t leave us to figure things out alone.
He could’ve saved us, ascended to heaven, and said, “Good luck down there.” But He didn’t. He left us the Holy Spirit—our helper, guide, and constant companion (John 14:26). That’s the kind of Elder Brother He is. So thoughtful, so intentional. He knew we’d need help. And not just help, but relationship. Someone to comfort us when we’re hurting. Someone to remind us of the truth. Someone to walk beside us every single day.
Y’all, that’s powerful. That means we are never truly alone.
The Holy Spirit is our link to heaven while we’re living here on earth. He gives us wisdom when we’re confused, strength when we’re weary, and clarity when the path ahead looks foggy (Romans 8:14). And He isn’t a distant force—He’s God with us, inside us, helping us live the life we’ve been called to.
This is the beauty of the Trinity. God the Father—our Creator and protector. Christ the Son—our Savior and Elder Brother. And the Holy Spirit—our Counselor and friend.
Christianity isn’t just belief—it’s belonging. It’s being part of a family with divine leadership and perfect love. The Father establishes it, Christ models it, and the Holy Spirit sustains it. Together, they show us how to live in unity, how to lead others, and how to fulfill our mission here on earth.
So today, if you’re feeling overwhelmed, lost, or alone—remember this:
You have a Father who created you with purpose.
You have an Elder Brother who gave everything to show you the way.
You have the Holy Spirit walking with you, every moment, every step.
Glory to God. Hallelujah. Praise Jesus Christ.
Thank You, Holy Spirit. I am not alone.
Amen.
